Component Type: kbuild config
Description: NUMA support
More info: Say Y to compile the kernel to support NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access). This option is for configuring high-end multiprocessor server systems. If in doubt, say N.

Component Type: kbuild config
Description: NUMA Support
More info: Say Y to compile the kernel to support NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access). This option improves performance on systems with more than two nodes; on two node systems it is generally better to leave it disabled; on single node systems leave this option disabled.

Component Type: kbuild config
Description: NUMA Memory Allocation and Scheduler Support
More info: Enable NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access) support. The kernel will try to allocate memory used by a CPU on the local memory controller of the CPU and add some more NUMA awareness to the kernel.

Component Type: kbuild config
Description: Non-Uniform Memory Access (NUMA) Support
More info: Some SH systems have many various memories scattered around the address space, each with varying latencies. This enables support for these blocks by binding them to nodes and allowing memory policies to be used for prioritizing and controlling allocation behaviour.

Description: NUMA Memory Allocation and Scheduler Support
More info: Enable NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access) support. The kernel will try to allocate memory used by a CPU on the local memory controller of the CPU and add some more NUMA awareness to the kernel. For 64-bit this is recommended if the system is Intel Core i7 (or later), AMD Opteron, or EM64T NUMA. For 32-bit this is only needed if you boot a 32-bit kernel on a 64-bit NUMA platform. Otherwise, you should say N.
